The Bulls and the Bears

 What does it mean to have a bull market?

There are two animals names that used when talking about the stock market. The first one is a Bull. To be bullish or to have a bull market means that stock market is set to show gains. If a person says that they are bullish on a stock that means they think that the stock price will go up in the near future. the other animal that is often referred to in the market is a bear market.

What is a Bear market?

A bear market or being bearish is showing pessimism toward the a stock or the market. People who are bearish toward a stock think that the stock will go down in value in the near future. People who say that the stock market is is a bear market thinks that the stock market will go down in the near future.
